Marriott Vacation Idea Needed!

I currently have 420k Marriott points, can easily get more as I am still eligible for some of their cards, and have gold status. I am looking for recommendations for any vacation involving their higher end properties. It would just be for my wife and myself and we are open to just about anything. Just looking to have an awesome vacation at one of their best properties for free!

Not a lot of details on your goals. From your userID, I gather you may be based in Boston. Book a weekend at the Ritz-Carlton in Boston. It would meet your stated goal of a high end property!

Have you looked at the list of hotels that can be booked for 60K points thru yearend, jumping next year? There are some amazing bargains. I'm a big fan of the Gritti Palace in Venice and Al Maha outside Dubai. If you can find award space, you can book 5 nights for the price of 4.

Great idea on taking a look at the list! The Ritz in St. Thomas immediately jumped out to me, but sadly it looks like it isn't set to reopen until summer. And the St. Regis Princeville ... is this ever available with points?

Westin Grand Cayman seems like tremendous value for 40k pts/night vs. $729 avg./night. Can anyone comment on this property or the island in general.

Laluna in Grenada also looks like an interesting option.

It's gone as of tomorrow. It's being reflagged and leaving the Marriott/SPG organization.

I would suggest the St Regis in the Maldives. Hands down the best SPG property I have stayed at, and right now it can be booked for 60k points/night with 5th night free.

Do you have to call to check award space?
