booking separately for multiple nights
I'm trying to book 3 nights at a SPG hotel. I picked the cheapest prepaid rate for the 3 nights, but I noticed that if I book the 3 nights separately (1 night reservation x3), the total would be $20 cheaper. It's only $20, but is that normal?

Sometimes it's cheaper to book one 3-night stays, and sometimes it's cheaper to book three 1-night stays. And sometimes it's cheaper to book one 1-night stay and one 2-night stay. You have to look at all the options.

You forgot one night, skip, one night, skip, one night. All at different hotels. You could also look at AirBnB...
