The Post Integration Everything Is Ok Thread

As of today, everything is OK with my MR account ... my SPG and MR legacy accounts are combined, my status is properly displayed on the website and on the app. my nights and points are combined, and the final missing stay from post 8/18 has just posted. My reservations are showing as well.

Most of things were fixed within the first week, my points and nights have made minor movements over the past week, but that stay took two weeks after I emailed in about it.

While I certainly am surprised at the lack of communication, none of this has been a material problem and its good to have it complete.

Just noticed today that my SPG account had finally updated with all correct history as well, and went forward with linking the two.

My points, nights, reservations, etc., all came over fine. When I combined accounts it took 6-8 hours for LT status to update, but it's now correct. I recently received the points refunds for current reservations that reduced points - took about a week via email contact, but I believe everything is now good for my account.

Not that it has any direct impact on me, personally, but I think the LT nights thing is still in a state of general disarray, no? As of 9/5, my 2018 SPG & Marriott stays were backed out of the total. My only post-9/5 stay has yet to post (and likely at this point won't until I can submit a missing stay request), but I suspect the LT nights total will increment by that number of nights when the stay finally does post (just based on the postings/experiences of others). So for those trying to track their 2018 goals, this will be inconvenient at the very least (their LT totals will reflect everything but 1/1/18 - 9/5/18).

Otherwise, my account has been mostly good since combining shortly after 8/18: Points seem correct; Still not sure I understand the LT years calculation, but I'm happy with it (and expect no further adjustments at this point, Jan '19 LTPP would likely persist even if there were); I am now correctly showing as PPE vs PE in all account views; I still don't show having ambassador status, but he's continued to be responsive, so no matter; Post-8/18 I was able to rebook an existing Marriott award stay and lop 20k points off of the cost; I was able to apply and have approved legacy SPG SNAs to said award reservation; I was recently finally able to select my earned Choice Benefits.

Overall nowhere near as bad as what some others have endured, thankfully.

the lack of affirmative posts on here should be an eyeopener. It seems like the Majority still have issues. If you posted the same thread Who still has issues? I bet you get more than 6 posts....

As far as I can tell, all is OK with both my and my wife's accounts. We are still chasing 2M LT points on her MR account, so have not combined hers, yet. That leaves 2 pre-merger SPG stays that only show in her SPG account, while everything else shows only in her MR account. Her status (PPE) is correctly shown on both sites.

Apps recorded 102 nights on 10/9 .... did another 2 nights at Ritz Carlton on 9-11/9 and 1 night stay at St Regis on 12-13/9.

Currently apps show 103 nights. so I'm pretty sure St Regis Sg stay have been recorded, but Ritz Carlton Al Hamra is not yet recorded.

Account activity still not up to date yet.

I've merged and everything is OK with the exception of not displaying one reservation. It is still active but not being shown and I still receive the message at the top of the page indicating not all my reservations are being displayed. I've received that message since the transition on August 18th even before I merged my accounts.

I have not had any issues. I waited a week before combining and everything came over.

two transient issues that resolved themselves
1. Some August Legacy SPG stays took a few weeks to post
2. 50 night benefit didnt allow me to select it for a week or so despite crossing the 50 with the combination.

otherwise no issues with status, stays, reservations etc.

Because we all know everyone always goes to websites and posts "everything is good, no problems".

I haven't seen many "there's no hurricane here" posts, so should we assume that Hurricane Florence is swamping the entire world with all of the posts on the topic?

To be fair, though, this thread was an invitation for folks who believe so to post that "everything is OK." Having said that, it might be awhile yet before it picks up any really steam.

As the OP, perhaps Although I didn't start the thread until everything was complete for me from the integration.

The practical issue is that people are much more likely to post regarding problems ... not when everything is finally complete.

No major issues for me yet. I combined accounts and everything seems to be going fine. The lack of activity posting for a while was worrisome but everything seems to be there now. I had one post 8/18 stay so far (at a Marriott-side property) which posted correctly after the full points activity showed up. I've also been successful at making and cancelling/modifying future reservations on both the Marriott and SPG side

(I'll note that I had the flexibility to limit my August and September travel so lots of issues others have faced I've been able to wait out. If I had lots of late August stays, I might not feel the same way!)
