I think they had blacklisted my IP for some reason. I hopped on a VPN to my parents’ house and it worked. Now it is working for me at home again.

The Account Activity Page on website remains messed up. Point expiry message still displays with the expired date a time machine date. Still cannot go over activity beyond the first 10 items.
I gather Lurker has been aware this situation? |

I gather Lurker has been aware this situation? I didn't notice/report the period filter issue... |
Tried to book Westin Milan, price shown was in JPY but when booked changed to NTD, 5, times high price. The reaction was oops , tough luck

Update
1) The modify room function is now back on APP, at the very bottom of the Reservation Details, pass beyond the wordings explaining the function but without the arrow. You need to go pass the paragraphs of modification and cancellation, then the 2 items show up again this time has an arrow to go to the function. 2) They don’t understand the display error, nor the malfunction on the activity display that does not go beyond last 3 months, nor more than 10 activities on the website. 3) ditto on the wrong display of point expiration date as the last qualifying activate date, and the message of Your Points are about to expire, because by the erroneous programmed calculation, the expiration date would always be in the Past in a Time Machine manner… The 3) was passed to Loyalty Dept to check on account details by procedural requirement, versus being sent to the IT dept to look at. I got a reply from Loyalty Dept this morning, saying that because I am life time Gold, my points never expire per current policy…. Not a single word about passing the wrongly display glitch to the IT dept to look at. So I guess for those of us having wrong expiration dates on our Account Activity screen, it might be until next whatever update the glitch would be fixed. Meanwhile as long as you have a lifetime status your points are safe, for now. |
Hi,
However, the qualifying spend does not appear to have updated. Curious if others are seeing the same issue. Does this update at a later date? Sure enough it was me not being patient and it updated accordingly a couple of hours after I saw the discrepancy. |

I just checked for the modify room function in the Android APP. It is there for revenue (cash) stays. It still isn't available for points (award) stays. I still have to do that on the website. Guess Marriott wants to make it more difficult to get points back when the award rate goes down or they just don't want to implement the program logic to do it in the APP. YMMV...
--Jon It is so annoying that there constantly bugs and glitches. The Lurkers can not even be capable to be just a messenger because some of them are not knowledgeable enough, hence they dont actually understand what the issues are. So frustrating. |
Had a weird one today. A cancelled reservation for TLV showing up as an active again — and guess what, it’s now passed my cancellation deadline! (Check in for yesterday).
Guessing this happens quite often cause a call to Bonvoy and the agent didn’t even question it, cancelled it and waived the penalties. On another note, there’s also a reservation booked under a special agency rate (not eligible for Bonvoy benefits) that also showed up <24 hours before check in, but I had not added my bonvoy number to that reservation (thank you? I suppose) |

The message about points expiring is kind of incongruous with the very first activity listed right under. Not to mention, there is constant activity on my account from stays and CC.

Anyone else noticing the missing stay form is broken? I've tried on both PC and iPhone, can fill out form, but submit button doesn't do anything.

I stayed at the Residence Inn by Universal Studios last weekend. They had to manually check in. It included making photocopies of my ID and credit card. They took it and went back to their office to get the check in done. It was really weird. They had people credit card photocopies laying out on the desk for people to see. The explanation I got was an irate customer destroyed their credit card machines, etc. a few days prior.
How would u feel is this happened? It didn’t leave me with all my data secure. |
