I just spent 2 nights at Westin Grand Frankfurt on 2 occasions last week. The Lounge is very mediocre, with meager evening food offerings and lousy breakfast selections. All the SPG hotels in Asia that I've been to had much better lounges.

I second the Grosvenor House in Dubai, amazing lounge that’s much more like a Ritz lounge than your typical Sheraton lounge. Full bar where they can mix anything you want plus enough food during the day so that you don’t really have to dine out anywhere unless you want to. Amazing property overall.

My thoughts exactly. Grand Club Hong Kong anyone?
The club lounge at Prince Gallery Kioicho Tokyo gets my honorable mention though. Great ambiance, furniture, view and selection of beverages (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic). Food during cocktail hours are strictly bite-sized and cold appetizers however.

I'm surprised by all the votes that LRM Shanghai is getting here. It's a good lounge for the quantity and variety of food at breakfast and happy hour, but it's too big and bustling for my taste. Moreover, the wine isn't particularly good. IMO it would be clearly dominated by the lounge in the former Singapore StR (now the Hongta LC) from about ten years ago which had a chef doing demonstration cooking every evening.
Since someone mentioned Plat treatment and a nonlounge, if I can indulge in further "those were the good old days" thoughts, the Singapore StR used to have daily wine tasting (of maybe a dozen wines, with nice cheese) in their old wine room, plus Plats got a daily choice of either a drink (including Champagne) and appetizer in the downstairs lobby lounge or drinks and an appetizer buffet in the poolside casual Italian restaurant/bar.

Westin Mumbai, and St Regis Mumbai have outstanding lounge experiences (the latter is not really a lounge, just a complimentary 2h drinks and snacks at rooftop bar).
