yes, sort of - there are signs for a McDonald's on the ground level of the same building (not sure if it will open into the hotel lobby or just via Clark)

Any reports from folks staying here? I'm considering it for an upcoming weekday stay... wondering if any of the Suites are typically available as Titanium / SNA upgrades when baseball is not in season, and reports on the breakfast benefit.

Stayed here earlier the night before the Marriott event at wrigley field. Friend and I decided to splurge to pay for the suite. Beautiful room with amazing wrigley field views. It was great sitting on the balcony and having a few drinks.

not sure about upgrade potential, my guess is you may get upgraded to a non field view suite if the hotel isn’t too busy.

breakfast was continental breakfast or $10 off restaurant item. We both went with restaurant item and it was good. Also, free coffee from West Town Bakery downstairs if you’re a hotel guest before 10am.

2nd floor bar was also nice place to sit and drink.

really enjoyed my stay.

Just completed an outstanding four night stay at this property. MR recognition/treatment was great. Had four, one night reservations for Thurs-Monday with SNAs requested on each. Thursday SNA cleared into Jr. Suite but noticed in app was upgraded to full Suite prior to arrival. SNAs for remainder of stay were denied, but was allowed to stay in the full suite for the entire weekend. Suite was beautifully appointed and the balcony was great even in the cold weather.

Hotel restaurant/lounge is great; breakfast voucher covered $10 per person and meals were great. Picture of menu included.

Housekeeping did an outstanding job turning the room when we were out.

All in all, a great stay and will definitely return when back in the area. Don’t miss this gem of a property!

Hotel Zachary, Chicago, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

I booked this hotel with 85 k points and used an SNA to get the Wrigley field view. We were going to a Cubs game the day of check in, so it certainly has a great location right acrss the street from the main entrance to the stadium.

I can definitely recommend the hotel overall if in combination with a Cubs game.

We arrived at 11:30, before the regular check in time. I did not check in advance on the app. The room was not ready. They pre-checked us in and stored our luggage for us.

They called us later to inform us when the room was ready. However, we were already in the stadium in the Marriott VIP lounge. I wrote a separate review of that experience in the Bonvoy Moments thread.

I was thanked for my Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador status and was offered either 12 USD credit for breakfast or 1000 points. I believe it was 12 USD per person. I chose the points since I did not believe the 12 USD would cover much.

There was no offer to help bring our limited luggage to the room.

Parking at this hotel is $75 per night. We used SpotHero instead.

View into the check in area. On the right is a novel monthly calendar showing local events. Most of them Cubs games.

Room

The main feature of the room is the view of the stadium.

Overall i found the room very comfortable and well equipped. We did not hear any street noise.

I was rather surprised to not get any in room platinum recognition for a premium room.

i was also surprised that it did not seem possible to order food to the room.

Location

The hotel is right across the street from the stadium.

Dining

There are multiple outlets for food at the hotel. We only tried eating at the bar. I found it to be very pricey for what we got and would probably not repeat. Apparently their restaurants get rewards, so perhaps I just had bad luck or different taste buds.
