Answering my own question, but I had an opportunity to stay here recently. Nice new property. Located on the far side of Katy next to Costco, so very far from Houston and even about 30 mins from the Energy Corridor where I was this week. Despite being nearly empty (there were only 9 cars in the parking lot when I checked in), no upgrade was offered. The location isn't fantastic for my use so I probably won't be here again any time soon.
