Two properties on two ends of the spectrum, but I really enjoyed my stays at both: Prince Gallery and Hotel Des Indes.

I've had some excellent stays at Luxury Collection properties. Too difficult to name a favourite, but some of the best include:
Turnberry (before latest refurbishment)
Schloss Fuschl
Phoenician
Equinox
Pine Cliffs
Hotel Alfonso VIII
Castillo son Vida

These topics are fun! So since we are all thinking about traveling again I'll add my 2C:
(1) Al Maha (way above anything else - probably one of the best points redemptions in the network. I think we only liked RC Kyoto better)
(2) We really like Palace Hotel in SF. Yes, they are a bit stingy with breakfast but we can live with cold cuts only since smoked salmon is included Also, for whatever reason this hotel is often very competitively priced for our dates.
(3) Bristol in Warsaw - solid service and good breakfast. Location is good for sightseeing but not so much for business though.
Importantly, we absolutely adore the Byredo toiletries. I primarily like suites upgrades b/c you get larger bottles. We'd really like to purchase these but it's not possible except for these small sizes on LC site and we are too environmentally conscious to go for this.

My take on Luxury Collection hotels
Great :
Al Maha - Dubai Desert Conservation Area - Love it very much and definitely will stay there again when I revisit Dubai.
Hotel Imperial - Vienna - Another great hotel love their location and great staff. Will do another stay if I happen to revisit Vienna.
Suiran - Kyoto - Love the location and love the setting. Will do another stay but I also Curious about RC Kyoto and the The Mitsui Kyoto.
Gritti Palace - Vienna - Amazing staff and great SNA option.
Good:
Danieli Hotel - Vienna - Great location although it was too busy for me but they do have fantastic view.
Schloss Fuschl - Fuschlsee - Another great hotel although the location pretty much far from everything else.
The Goldener Hirsch - Salzburg - Great hotel and staff. Located right at Getreidegasse area which is very charming.
The Prince Gallery - Tokyo - Easy subway connections and great staff.
Average
US Grant - San Diego - pretty much average although location was pretty good.
Keraton at The Plaza - Jakarta - another average hotel with good location. Service used to be great but on my subsequent visit the standard drop quite significantly. Seems like they will be deflagged soon.
Special mention:
The Laguna - Nusa Dua Bali - My parents stay here and they like it. I might try them If I happen to go to Bali. .

Really like the Laguna of course not in same league as st Regis but a sold if slightly outdated property. Rooms function well, ie showers and air con and have never not been upgraded to an executive suite. What I like is is decorated in traditional Balinese style unlike the ghastly W Semanyak. For the price it is well worth it

Very hard to try something new when you have one that always deliver great service every time I stay there.
End up returning to St Regis every time.
