All the rooms are sizeable, almost to the point they are too big due to lack of furniture. Some noticeable age as well. Bathrooms are older, but passable. It’s a very nice property and food is very good overall. The casita-style works for a staycation, same with the grounds, and location. However, don’t expect a four seasons resort and you’ll be fine.
I am really going to try to post a review after New Years.
We had a really enjoyable 1 night stay last week and were very impressed with both the service and the property.
Happy to discover such a relaxing Staycation spot less than 30 minutes from our house.

This property is not showing any availability after early May. I called and was told there are lots of weddings, renovations, and other stuff the rep wasn't at liberty to discuss. The rep said I should check back every couple weeks, as things could open up. I wonder what is going on. Any chance the property might be leaving Marriott?
Any recent reports? What is the breakfast for Plats?

The property has now left Marriott. The booking engine from the hotel's website refers to Hermann Hotels.
I stayed here back in April when it was still with Marriott. I applied a SNA on a points booking. It cleared 5 days out, into an executive guest room. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to the presidential suite! Although furnishings hadn't been updated and the back patio clearly needed work, it was a nice place. One strange item was a huge full kitchen with no utensils or cookware (the hotel provided 2 place settings when asked). Apparently they had been removed during the pandemic.
Breakfast at Morada was outstanding - I had the pear french toast. Breakfast credit was $18 for Platinum, now irrelevant. Really nice property and setting in the village. I hope it will become a points property again.
