just thought i'd throw this out there in case it's of use to anyone.
i had an amex spg card perhaps six or seven years ago, maybe more. i wanted to find out if i was eligible for the bonus so i called amex and i told them that i wasn't sure if i had the card before. the agent said that there was no record of me having the card and that i was eligible for the bonus.
i applied, got the card, and now a statement has come and i got the 60k points.
so this goes to show that "lifetime" is up for interpretation.
I will keep the card but not really use since i can get a huge value out of the annual one night for CAD120 .

I got my 15 bonus nights today and still have not received the card. I also got the bonus 15,000 points (5000 miles) for a 60K point transfer to Aeroplan I did on Sunday.

Was approved on Saturday and am still waiting for the card in Toronto (Wednesday evening). Unfortunately it looks like they may be sending these Canada Post instead of Fedex and with Monday being a government holiday it will take a bit longer.

I was approved the other day and got my 15 nights already - very quick! Now patiently waiting for the card. Hope it will get here before I leave for my trip.

same timeline and locale as you except I got my card yesterday. I’d be surprised if you don’t get it this week.

How long for the annual free night certificate to post?
I paid my annual fee a couple statements ago and I can't find any mention of the free night in my profile.

Mine posted a month after at the last day of the month when they post your points from spend. If you are using the Bonvoy APP it is on the same page that shows your status/number/nights this year. Just scroll down to see if you have any certs posted.
