As of February 2019 this hotel no longer offers club lounge access to Marriott Platinum and higher guests, even if upgraded to a room category which would otherwise offer lounge access, so lounge access mentioned in older reviews would no longer apply.
The hotel also no longer participates in Suite Night Awards.
Breakfast offering for Platinum and higher is in restaurant, buffet plus made to order eggs.

I have just finished a 3 night stay here.Yes it is a very nice hotel, the rooms are great for Tokyo and the staff friendly in a Japanese way.
But I really don't think it is worth the extra cost.Possibly it was very busy when I stayed. Was on points.SNAs did not clear and was in the room type I booked.Grateful that breakfast was either in the lounge or restaurant.Chose the restaurant as we were on floor 36.
Lounge was never busy.Maximum 15 guests while we were there and for 30 minutes on the last night we were the only ones there.Reasonable food but exactly the same every night-though they did rotate the position of the various dishes.Wine drinkers and the wine was good with 1 white and 1 red. However very slow producing another bottle when the bottle ran out.
We actually enjoyed the area. One day walking to the Akasaka palace and found it was having an open day so took advantage of that.Enough restaurants in the neighbourhood to give you many options.those on the lower floors of the building outside the hotel were very good.
But it comes down to cost.I find it hard to justify the premium over the other choices in tokyo so unlikely to stay again.Iy just didn't have that Wow factor for me.

Found a lower rate on hotels site direct and with flex cx policy than on SPG site. But nowhere to add SPG status acct#. SPG chat unable to add when not booked via SPG.
Will I get benefits, and will I get stay credit? How best to secure it?

You may contact the hotel directly to check if the reservation is eligible and add your SPG account number into the reservation. If you could provide your SPG account number and reservation details to us via private mail here or by email below, we are happy to contact the hotel on your behalf.

We have received below answer from the hotel.
"If the guests reserve our room through our website(princehotels.com), they can get Seibu Prince Club benefits only.If the guests reserve our room through Marriott/Starwood channel, they can get SPG benefits only.So it depends on the reservation source."

If the hotel is indeed denying SPG benefits for booking through the hotel website, that seems like a violation of the SPG T&C, which only exclude rooms booked through "a tour operator, online travel channel or other third-party channel." The hotel's own website is, somewhat by definition, a first-party channel. Can you clarify?
Thank you for pointing this out.
