I would have checked-out.

The rebranded Marriott Tuxtla Gutierrez (formerly Camino Real) had no wifi in the MClub Lounge (nor Coke, but I digress) and the wifi speed in the room was...0.22 mbps. When I mentioned there was an issue they ran a phone line from the room next door down the hallway and it speed up to a dizzying 1.3 mbps.

Of course, a property that has no shames in charging 100 USD or higher per night as a supposedly full-service Marriott.

The Henry in Dearborn. Pretty bad, connection wasn't reliable enough for a Skype for Business call.

T-Mobile's LTE coverage is lacking here too...I've stayed down the street at the Courtyard Dearborn and gotten over 100mbps on LTE there.

JW Marriott Bogota

Stayed at JW Marriott Bogota, Columbia this weekend; did not save a screen shot from Ookla, but using it to test speeds got approx:

Download: 20 - 25 mbs
Upload: 3-5 mbs

pretty consistent throughout the property: in room, in Club lounge, in restaurant (on the patio) and in gym (in the basement)

(on edit) Also had fast LTE service in the hotel and around town; did not do separate speedtest for the LTE service but consistently had 4-5 bars LTE through Mobilstar on my Verizon iPhone 6 Plus.
