Do not create too many accounts too fast. Some reports of account shutdown when same SSN used across multiple cards / accounts in a short period of time.

While I edited the wiki. I did not verify the information.
Did you not do a test load before going the full load?

People are just afraid to think outside the box. You don't need Wally World. There is places that do MO.

Did a $20 initial load using chase which cleared as purchase. Tried adding $1000 more. Saw pending on chase for a 3rd day. Called and they said, transaction is coming in as CA. Hoping it clears tomorrow as purchase.
Debating if I should remove CA restriction on citi and try loading with it?

I got a Visa Buxx card and loaded the initial $500 on it. I haven't gotten the card in the mail yet though but today I logged onto my account and it says Status: Closed. Is that because I haven't activated the card yet? I'm scared because I entered the wrong social for the parent. For my other card the status says "Active".

When did you sign up? If it was a while ago, it's possible that since you never activated in X amount of time. It was closed to prevent fraud?

Does anyone know what status it shows right when you apply for and load the card? If it is in fact closed due to a wrong social being provided, will I be able to withdraw the money from the card still or no ?

When you apply for a card, it says "issued". I had a card sitting around for a week or two before activating it. I doubt that was your problem. Remember, their target client group is lazy teenagers

FML ... so it probably was because I entered the wrong social ... I wonder if I'll be able to use the $500 in the card.

I have loaded 5k on 2 TD Buxx cards in the past 25 days. All of them have posted using the Citi Exec card. All of them still have pending transactions also still showing. I still dont see anything showing up in the cash advance section (all show up in the purchase bucket).
