I have 1 funding source. 2 teens. $2K x 2 teens leaves me $4K per 30 days.
Loaded $2K on 10/12 card 1
Loaded $1K on 10/20 card 2
Loaded $1K on 10/29 card 2
Loaded $500 on 11/11 (card 1) - 30 days plus a couple of hours ater the 10/12 load.
Second $500 load failed last night. Failed again this morning.

The request to load funds has been denied for the following reason:
An error occurred while attempting to add funds to your account. Please verify that the information you have provided for your payment method is correct.

My payment method has not changed in many months. The only conclusion I can make is that the max load per CC has dropped from $5K to $2.5K??

Any other ideas?

It feels like they lowered the max per CC to 2.5k. I loaded
1K card1 on 11/3 using Credit card1.
1k card2 on 11/3 using Credit card1.
I ordered a new card 11/10 with 500 on it using credit card 1.
1K card1 on 11/13 using credit card2

I just tried to load 1K to card2 using credit card1 again and it failed with your same error

It may be appropriate to get a couple more data points before updating the Wiki. I am convinced the Wiki was right 30 days ago, but it is no longer correct. $2.5K has to be the new 30 day max per CC.

So that just means that we won't be able to load the max if we have more than 2 cards now. I actually had reached the max number of different credit cards loaded to my account in a certain period and had to wait 2 months before it accepted another card. With 3 Buxx cards and the max load of 2.5K each credit card, we will miss out on 1k. Oh well. Hopefully we get some other data points.

If it is, it changed a lot more recently than 30 days ago. I just dumped $4k each on 2 cards to fund 4 teens on my parents' 2 accounts over the span of 2 days last Friday and Saturday on a single card. Also loaded $4k worth onto a couple of teen cards on my account on a single card across those same 2 days. Didn't run into any issues.

Well, now I really don't know what is going on.
As reported previously, I loaded $500 on 11/11 and then a 2nd attempt failed.
I tried again on 11/12, failed with same error msg.
I tried again just now and was able to top off the card with the remaining $1.5K. So, I have now loaded $4k in the last 30 days. My next load cannot happen until the 19th (due to 30 day window on the USB Buxx card). See what happens then.

In short, I now have no clue why my attempts earlier this week failed and now succeed. I am using the same single source CC that I used all along.

USB Buxx

Yesterday, at a new (to me) WM (Oakland Hegenberger), USB Buxx was declined for both a Serve load and BB. Payment method not allowed. I have been having trouble with BB, but this is the first time Serve also failed. YMMV

ATMs appear to be the way to go.

I had no trouble doing BB and Serve loads this week with USB.

More Buxx problems today at WM. Would appreciate anyone with any ideas.
At a regular cashier, I reported I wanted to load BB - $500. The cashier was very inexperienced, but got a supervisor over to help. They did it right. I got the sequence that is getting all too familiar. The regular process that always seemed to work was rolling along. I get approved on my pad, but soon the cashier is shaking their head and saying didn't go through. And they hand me the traditional 1" piece of paper with meaningless gibberish on it. It says, among other things DEBIT NOT APPROVED, CALL AUTHORIZER. ....

This time I was using NW Buxx and was sure it would work. Tonight, I logged into NW and saw that they saw the $500 hit, taking the balance momentarily to zero, and then my $500 was restored and it didn't happen. I can't figure out if this is a WM issue, a BB issue or a NW issue. Any ideas. Here is a cut/paste of my history on NW. The bottom line being the older message (spent $500) and then adj and the $500 is back on the NW card and not loaded onto BB.

Are you sure you haven't hit any limits?

I hope this is temporary. Loading my BB with my Buxx is all I do. Can't give you any info here as my next load won't be till December.

According to the wiki on Serve for the DEBIT NOT APPROVED message, did you reach your monthly or daily limit?

NW loading w Citi update

I did a test load to NW Buxx of $10 + $2 fee with my Citi Hilton Reserve. It pended and posted as a purchase, coded the same way as the initial funding load - Nationwide Bank/Gift. ^ No CA fees!

I still think this may be exclusive to the Hilton cards with the separate login and all.

I would have bet my eye teeth I did not have a limit problem, thinking that I unloaded the 11/1 load on 11/9. But, I failed to do it until 11/10. I don't recall the time of day, but I know the $800 in 7 days really means $800 in 168 hours. So, if it works today, I posted a false alarm. Sorry. I thought so much time had gone by that 168 hours wasn't close to an issue. But it was. I will be trying again today.

I am trying to load my accounts and I keep getting the error also. I sent them a message and waiting on response.
