Using visa gift cards as debit issue
Hey so in the past I was able to get the pin and swipe the visa gift cards and get a money order. Lately they have little circles on the back and swiping wasn’t working. I just got approved for a new CC so any help to reach the spending would be appreciated.

Gonna need way more information. What type of visa gift card? What is the brand? What is the backing bank? What is the BIN? Where did you buy them from? Where are you trying to buy the money order at?

For instance, who issued the cards and where did you buy them?
How did you attempt to liquidate them?
Did that liquidation method work before?
If it did work, be more specific about what went wrong more recently.

Sorry, a vanilla Visa that I saw at CVS. Are there any good alternatives?
they used to work before, but it also had a barcode on the back that was full. Now, parts of it are missing when you remove the package. I used to go to a Publix and swiped it and got a money order.

the Vanilla Visa GC was issued by whom?
And serviced by whom?
I've had an issue with a Visa GC (Secure Spend) at CVS that was issued by Pathward and Serviced by Incomm
Package was in pristine shape but when I opened it, the last 4 digits had been scratched off (tampered). So I had to email scans/pictures of everything and they sent me a new one.
CVS does the activation for that card and I believe had a one hour hold (securespend website typically shows a 1 hour hold on the Visa ones when you enter the card details). The Mastercard ones don't *seem* to have that 1 hour limit, but I could be wrong.
So perhaps you hit the 1 hour threshold?
But if this is a Vanilla branded, it may not be issued by Pathward and Serviced by Incomm, could be issued by Pathward and serviced by BHN
