Changes in the cards. Been out for a while
Hello:
I've been out of MS for a while living overseas. Today I went and bought some new cards made of paper or cardboard at Staples. Interesting (not good) development.
In addition to the physical make-up of the card, I now see that they are using this really awful paste or glue to cover up the CVV code and the last four numbers of the card.
Anyone have some tips on how to remove this sticky stuff without damaging the cardboard itself?
The other change I noticed is that my Staples receipt no longer lists any serial numbers or identifying information from the specific card.
I would assume that if one has a problem with one of these cards activating, it will be a more difficult discussion with the store manager since the receipt no longer ties to a specific card number.
Can anyone provide some information for someone. who is now a newbie (with 15 years of past MS experience)
Many thanks in advance!
