Bought a Vanni @ WM with the new SCO machine. Started buying a second, but got a pop-up saying an associate was needed. So they tell me the "rule" is you can only purchase ONE 500 GC per DAY (or multiples totaling 500), and it's HARD-CODED in the machines. I just bought FOUR in a row at the very same SCO cube this past Sat.

and what happens if the transaction fails? do have to call associate to cancel it and then they take the gift card away? This sounds too good to be true and may not last long especially with gift cards.

Anyone else having difficulties with Vanilla VGC's getting flagged for fraud the first time you try to use them for the full amount? I've had this happen loading BB and buying MO.

Me too for MO, had to call to unblock it.

Is this a beginning of something new started by Vanni or just one off? guys we will need more data points on this for next few days to make sure it is not a new norm. In that case, could you call upfront and then go the store to get MO, that way it doesnt get rejected while at the register. Only hardcore MSers will be left after this change, if it is a new policy.
