radonc1 GetawaysRus i wasn't referring to quaterly payments. I am referring to the regular 1040 for the current year (2021)- the one that comes up when you file taxes and says this is the amount due. In my case, as a i have a pass-thru LLC, i always end up in tax due to IRS at the time of filing my personal taxes.
I also found that the 1040-ES shows up in IRS online account only for the person who made the payment. But, the 1040 payments shows in both the accounts for a joint filer. My question was more towards does the limit of 2/year gets doubled for a joint filer per processor like it does for 1040-ES. |

I think the simplest solution to your question would be to call the processor and ask them if that is indeed true.

Honestly, I've used them from the last 7 years...I didnt think i needed to check because theres' never been an issue. When I got the certified letter from IRS thats how this all started. The last payment IRS got from them for me was Dec 2021. I recently made Jan and Feb 2022 payments via pay pal. I show the money left my account but never made it to IRS. Filed a claim with Pay Pal...already got my money back.

Has anyone had luck retrieving the payment? I paid over 5 k via debit card about two months ago, and no luck. IRS online a/c does not show anything. Please help me. Their customer service phone number is a joke. No one picks up the call nor replies to any email.

I can confirm that PayUSATax is to be avoided. Made a $5K payment that was rejected by the IRS (payusatax sent an email with that message). Not knowing what was going to happen next, I tried to get in touch with PayUSATax but that is completely impossible. After waiting on hold for over an hour, you get automatically disconnected. Messages and emails are completely ignored. Luckily for me, the payment was refunded automatically after about a week but I won't use them again since they ignore customers completely if something goes wrong that their computer system doesn't handle. Many negative reports online if something goes wrong.

Made 6 payments in 2022. No issues with any. Shows up in IRS site a couple of days later. Sounds like if there is a problem, it's a pain to deal with.
