I’m in the same boat

Hi guys, we’re all in the same boat. My payment never went to the IRS. But this was in January so my bank won’t help me. I’ve tried to call numerous times and they don’t pick up. It looks like people on bbb have had luck so I’m going that route. Does anyone wanna go in with me to file a law suit against them?!

It might have just gone to the wrong year, try ordering all of your account histories online (actually if you log into the main portal it will show you all of your recent payments).

i checked the online account and the wrong tax code was entered… so it went to the IRS but immediately bounced back… I’m at a loss right now about what to do! Any help would be appreciated

Can you provide the link you are referring to in order to check our payment history?

It's in the wikipost (first post) of the main thread on tax payments.

Value payments is ripping me off too. I checked my IRS account and my EFTPS account. Nothing from them besides the numerous payments they did for me in past years. Last week, one time I called right when they opened the line in the morning. 10 minutes later somebody picked up the phone and immediately hung up. Otherwise I have not been able to get through to them.

Another idea is to file a report as a stolen tax payment.https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/repor...sconduct.shtml
The IRS really needs to disallow them as a tax payment service since they do not support customers.

I was getting ready to fly out to VPS and inquire in person, but since I found the payment it wasn't necessary. They really, really need to be disqualified from handling IRS payments.

Note that Amex did file a dispute and reverse the charges for me as I documented that I had tried repeatedly to contact them. This was on a 9mo charge. When I found the payment I closed the dispute and they reprocessed the charge.

I'd encourage anyone unable to contact them file a charge back.

Never had an issue but I always print the PDF of the receipt and cross check with EFTPS when paying. These days I have a better way to liquidate $500's so I end up only liquidating $200's bought at office stores this way.

Never had a problem with payusatax before and I have made about 15 payments between fed and state with them. But I did just have a curious experience. Made a $1500 estimated tax payment last Saturday via PayPal linked to my Chase Freedom for the 5% PayPal bonus. As of a week later the charge has still not cleared my credit card account AND the money has been verified as posting to my IRS account. Seems strange as I have never seen a delay this long to post to the card account. I am sure they will figure it out eventually.

Got the same problem made two payments first one has disappeared and not recorded on my tax account, second one landed successfully and is registered .... no response to emails and after several hours of waiting on phone disconnected.

Taken your advice and filed a dispute with the bank, I paid with Debit card (as a significant amount ) which probably wont help things

Please reconsider your "I used them and didn't have any problems" reports

I guess I see this in lots of threads, someone says "I went to Joe's Barbershop and he tried to slit my throat with a razor" and some else says "Yikes, me too!". Then there is the inevitable "What are you talking about, I've been to Joe's Barbershop and never had a problem!". Folks, when you are talking about someone NOT slitting your throat with a razor, that isn't a datapoint, that's just what you expect going to a barber.

So please, I'm sure 99.99% of Payusatax transactions go through without a hitch. And if they would just respond to the .01% of people who have problems, like just answering the phone or replying to an email, EVER, then this thread wouldn't be titled "Avoid payusatax.com". The fact that YOU were in the 99.99% of people who didn't have a problem is NOT a datapoint, a datapoint would be you having a problem and them helping to resolve it!

Thanks for reading!

My CC just posted three weeks after making it. Not sure if the holdup was with PayPal or payUSAtax. Seems odd since it posted to my IRS account several weeks before the charge actually posted. Only reason I used PP was for the 5% Chase quarterly bonus. Had I made this charge toward the EOQ and this delay happened I most definitely would not have gotten the bonus.
