I am going to refer you to an older thread about Venmo and MSing.

PSA: Don't Liquidate with Venmo

Let it be a warning about Venmo (and this goes for Paypal as well)

I'm pretty sure all types of GC are dead with Venmo. You may be able to add it but the transaction won't go through due to some change Venmo made in their backend years ago. But even if you were to be successful, heed radonc1's warning that Venmo is quick to shut down accounts

I know the risks - I have two legitimate purchases and I would like to get rid of two cards I have

So nothing has changed as fas as Meta GCs are concerned with Venmo.
