Signing up to buy $1000 visa/mc gift cards
You can buy the $1000 cards on Simon's volume site. Their regular site only sells $500 cards.
If you're new, or haven't bought anything in a year, you need to register at https://www.simon.com/volume/register-consumer
As part of the registration process, you will have to go to a brick and mortar mall and buy at least $3000 in cards in person, as well as filling out some paperwork while there. After that, you can do everything online.
As of Nov 2020, Simon Mall Gift cards will only work for $99/swipe for money services at Walmart and many grocery chains.
$1000 gift cards are available indefinitely.

Is there a trick to registering the Visa cards online? I am getting an "Internal Error, please try again." message each time I try to register a card.

Got my first shipped order from Simon. Shipped by UPS, and they just left the package on my porch where anybody can take it. Should I get UPS to hold it for pickup? Or is the fact they don't come activated enough of a security measure?

We dont live in a simon state and only P1 (me) have a approved online account. Anyone has experience? Just need to use for 1 order to hit MSR

Can I add spouse/P2's (different first and last name, same address) card on my simon account and place an order with it? Will they approve if I add a card on a different name? my on-line acct is temporarily deactivated after >1 yr dormancy; simon insisted that i must visit a local store, more than 50 mile r/t, to buy a minimum $3k first before they will re-activate my online acct claiming that everyone has to do the similar… so wait, for those folks don’t have a local store in the city or state, simon also denied or refused requests for service or to sell as well?
