Got a call today confirming the details of my GCM Purchase and at the end they asked me what the purpose of my recent gift card purchases were...she asked are they mainly for you to earn points on your credit card?

I was not sure what to say so I said they are mainly for gifts as well and she said ok and authorized the purchase.

I've purchased maybe 5k in gc's in the last 2 months.

Is it normal for them to ask that? Would they have banned me if I said yes they are to earn points for my cc? :confused:

Thanks JCD and others for the tips. Placing the order from my netbook fixed what didn't work on my home PC. Looking forward to maxing this out every month. I placed 2 orders for $500 a couple days apart and will ramp up slowly after I cash out.

do you need to do a "new" customized card every order? or can you use the same customized card from the previous order?

I use the same over and over again.

so, simply use a different machine fixed the CC error msg? did u change anything else...like the ip address, internet browser, or email address?

Nothing lasts forever

Those of you ordering through multiple GCM accounts are you setting them all up in your own name or using family members / spouses info? If the latter there is no issue using cards in your own name on an account with someone elses info?

One account for my spouse and the other in my name. $28k a month with CFU which nets 42k UR and ~$210 in pure cashback profits.

although congrats on ur success that GCM has allowed some folks with heavy volume like this w/o a ban, while few folks like my case only did less then $5k in 2 trans but got banned since last sept; GCM's system has major flaws & insanity; GC.com has consistently worked for me, but wouldn't be upset if their fees & earned cb were to be comparable to GCM; just doing enough at GC.com to meet min spend for CC bonus

Presumably, you use the same CFU card for both yours and your spouse account? So same 16 digits, but different cardholder names?

have you tried just ordering $500?

yep, but no go as well; will use a laptop that never access GCM, and fingers crossed
