This of course (if true), would be disastrous for us that hit up Staples/ODOM. So the kid who was helping me (who is friendly and knows me for years) said, "Let's try $200, $150, and $50." First two swipes went fine, third one wouldn't go (don't remember the error, sorry), had to use my regular debit card.

Now for the past three attempts, I'm getting "Invalid Amount" error at several different FDs. Tried Metas and Vanillas. Only have one Serve, so not possible for me to have hit yearly limit and not at my monthly limit. Any idea what could be causing this?

I've never loaded by using the barcode in the app. I always use my physical card. Maybe that could be your issue?

You either reached your monthly load limit of 10K or the yearly load limit of 100K

Serve Payee Zip Code to Pay Credit Card
 
Hi all, I’m new to serve and have done my first few loads! Have had good success with the Walmart VGC’s issues by green dot!

I am now trying to pay credit cards through my serve account for the first time. To add a bill pay entity, it asks for the payee zip code. I have done some dd on what this could be for Amex and Chase credit cards but have had no success. Any ideas or does everyone just transfer to their checking accounts from serve anyways?

Use the 9 digit zip code that is on your credit card statement. I add the payee manually. You should see it pop up at the bottom of the list when you start typing a bank name in.

It has been a while since I've started doing loading again, probably 12 months... T tried to reload last week and it worked! However, when I used the BILL PAY, it would not let me, saying "Oops! Well this is awkward. We're experiencing some technical difficulties, please try again in a moment." I've been trying for the whole week. Is my account on the verge of being shut down?
1.Should I call and ask? I'm scare!
2.Last resort, I use a Moneypass ATM to withdraw money... The limit is $2500/month, right?
3. I got another card too (different name), but it did not let me add money, so I guess that's the end for that.

What you can do is right click your browser, press 'Inspect' -- then go to Network... and observe the network traffic when you hit the button again.

After that, click on the request that it shows and see what the response JSON is. It should say the error - like SOME_INVALID_MERCHANT or something -- but on the UI itself it will show that error you are seeing now...just some generic info.

Are you able to withdraw money from your locked serve account using ATM? It seems my account is also locked.

In general, Amex Serve and BB do not restrict your use of money loaded onto their cards. When they shut you down, they simply prevent you from reloading the cards, making them functionally useless.
If you do not access to your money, then you need to contact them and tell them so. If they continue to give you the run around, then you need to contact the CFPB and file a complaint.

I noticed a lot of talk about WM branded green dot cards but my WMs don't carry then any more for some reason. I see a lot of green dots at grocery stores. These are reloadable. Do these work for serve/BB?

Has anyone found a way of setting up automatically scheduled reloads from the app/web interface? I checked around and it seemed to be available in the past from the site. If not, is there any external service that you've used in tandem with Serve to accomplish this functionality? Thanks

DG was a no go for me at 2 stores tonight. Said "tender not allowed" with Debit.

both stores had an updated Pinpad on my side (customer side) with a 7 or 8in LCD screen. Haven't been to DG in a while, but this was new to me. I also swiped the Serve card myself in this LCD screen (had a built in card reader). Before at DG, the employee would swipe it in the card reader on their keyboard.

perhaps stores that haven't been updated to the LCD screen on customer side still work? or is all of DG dead?

same experience here. FD is still a go, but I’m torn between going hard while it’s good or slowing down to not be too obvious.
