Living Overseas - Purchase cards from USA and withdrawal from International ATM
Hi All,
I've tried searching online but can't really find anything that answers my question.
I'm wondering if it's possible to purchase a USA based card (cc reloadable), ship the card internationally and withdrawal from ATMS here in Australia. Then cycle via credit card reloads and ATM withdrawals.
I'm not too worried about the forex charges, as I get bonus points on international purchases.
Interested to hear some thoughts.

For it to be worth it, you need to pack up about 100 or more prepaid cards, hide them in a teddy bear and kiss your ars goodbye trying to justify this to a U.S. Customs officer or a gestapo shoot to kill officer upon arrival to the other side.

I'm a US Expat in Brisbane, myself! I once had a well meaning relative send me a Vanilla card. I ended up sending it to myself via PayPal at a rip off Forex rate. I'm currently trying my first attempt at MS with two Citi Aadvantage Plat cards, which sucks because of the forex fee. I got in too late to take full advantage of Serve, so I'll come up short.
Let me know if you come up with any viable solutions. I know AusPost sells VGCs, and there is one reloadable option, but I haven't been able to find it at my local branches. I know their travel cards do NOT work.
