Cheap gift cards at Costco

Hello Everyone!

Has anyone noticed that Costco sells gift cards for other places at a cheaper price than they are supposed to be?

Is there any way to MS this?

Thanks for all the information.

There's some pretty good deals to be had. I've seen some $100 restaurant gift cards for $75 routinely at Costco.

Generally, the gift cards they sell are about 20% off (ie, get $100 in value for $80).

In those scenario's no, not really. Because if you try to resell them (whether its ebay, or to online gift card resellers), after fees, etc, you wont come out ahead.

SOMETIMES, I've seen GC's for a select limited few places up to 30% and even 40% off... when that happens, it would theoretically be possible, I think.

Not sure its worth the effort headache and potential risk though. And it happens pretty infrequently (and usually, not for national chains but only local retailers so demand is limited).

I do buy GC's from costco all the time for my own use though.
