The real question is , what is the mcc code for it? If it's just a 1x category it's not worth a whole lot besides meeting min spend
|
Any luck with payment by debit card to other banks besides Citi?

Convenience means a lot. It's one mall in downtown ftw. Not viable for some of us to drive out there once a week

Buy concert and sporting event tickets at face value. Resell on stubhub. If you know what's going to be worth a lot you can actually make money in addition to MSing miles and points. The fact that people do this as a career should be a good sign.

Potentially useless information: For those who live in NC, State employees credit union offers $500 VGCs for $1 ($2.50 by mail). T&C states no ATM or cash back though.

I've already posted mine, 5%+1mile/$ NET, but apparently everyone thinks making online orders and using the self checkout at the grocery is a big hassle :o
Oh and you have to live in the midwest. There are also some CCs that have a long hold time for pending charges. If you combine that with the right portal, and a merchant that rejects your order after accepting it ... Also 0.8 cents per UR point very rapidly using ink, staples.com, UR portal, and visa small biz. |
Can someone confirm that this posts as a Cash Advance on all Cards? (Chase, Amex, etc...). Looks like it would be a very viable option for people living in NC.

I don't have a credit union visa, but I don't believe they have any points earning ones anyway. |

Thank you. FAQ says it can be used anywhere, not just the mall. Can you register them online to be able to use them at AP, or just unloading them to BB at WM? JudyJFLA |
