When you say WM rejected them, do you mean that the system rejected the card or that a CSR told you that you could not use that card? Also, if all else fails, you can always use them for Amazon Payments (if you get a willing partner of course)

Or simply use them wherever you would use a CC, you already earned the pts or whatever when buying the GCs so if gotten at Staples you are ahead of the game since you dont get 5x elsewhere when using an INK. Its not like the $$ went down the tube and are lost forever

Thats what I did after having maxed out my INK pts wise and still had a few Gcs left over after loading my birdies. I used them as if they were CCs a slong as I didnt need any protection from the CC for what was being purchased

If you are having a problem loading, you are doing something wrong or hit a limit.

Not completely accurate.

This. Or there's a temp comm glitch between WM and Incomm system.

Never mind.

Thanks and good luck to all. Please remove me.

However you aren't really getting 5x since the fee cuts into that and you are losing the 1+% that you would get by using a normal CC. But more importantly for me, if you are like me that tracks of spending, it's harder to keep track of micro-payments on a deposable GC vs your CC statement. Not to mention that I don't normally spend $1k a month on "regular stuff".

But true, it's a last resort if nothing else works.

Vanilla Visa GC load on Blue Bird

Hi

I just bought a $200 vanilla visa gift card 484735 series from CVS. If I load it on BB, does it count towards debit card limit of $1000/month or Cash/ swipe Reload limit of $5000 per month.

Thanks

It counts against the $5000 month limit...The $1000/month debit limit is for funds loaded via the website, which you can typically not do with a pre-paid debit.

I may have asked this question somewhere else, but can't find it now. Is anyone else being prompted to enter a SECOND pin.. a longer 8 or 9 digit pin...after entering the depit cards 4 digits. Ive read and read these posts, I can't find anyone having this issue.

This problem has been reported several times here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/manuf...ys-broken.html

I reported the same problem several months ago:

So far, there is no way to fix it.

Yes. Try another Wal-Mart or a different kiosk.

I am at my wit's end and I need help.
Bought $200 VisaGCs at Staples today, the Metabank kind. Picked up 5.

Went to Wallyworld to unload to my BBird. Went to register, unloaded 2 cards, POS transaction worked just fine, 2 down, 3 to go.

Just for the heck of it, this Wallyworld had the kiosk so I decided to give it a try following the instructions that I find here, and there, ...no deal. Would not work at the kiosk and I don't know if it was something I did wrong or not.

THEN I go to the moneycenter and try to unload onto BBird. No dice. Came up with an error message even thought the 'APPROVED' appeared on the screen, it was not able to generate a receipt like it normally does. I got this little paper square saying debit not approved.

Went to a register and tried a different VisaGC (of the other 3 remaining cards). Same problem.

Has anyone else ran into this? I go online and enter the card numbers and it shows that I have $200.00 balance on each of these 3 remaining cards. SO WHAT WENT WRONG? HELP?!!!??! PS - my BBird is fine, logged in just now and all seems well, it shows the 2 loads of the 2GCs that worked.

??????????

Could it be that this particular Wallyworld only allows "2 swipes" ?

Call the phone number on the back of the card try resetting the PIN.

I notice I sometimes get the "Approved, yet transaction is declined" error when I've exceeded my BB limits (daily or monthly).
