Generally when a company plays games like that there are two questions I ask them that make me give back my money right away. So I am not worried about that, thanks for the warning tho.

I also had a failure on a my Gift Card Mall Visa, but I was successful on one of two mygiftcardsite.com MC Gift Cards.

I am wondering if I accept a payment if it will offset any miles earning spending I've made on my UFB debit card. If I spend $500 and receive $100 on the card will I earn 250 or 200 miles? I'll test it out this month and see how it works. Being able to receive money without losing miles would be helpful.

This might finally make it worth getting an Alaska Airlines or Delta SkyMiles debit card.

I used a Square reader to liquidate Amex GCs back in the day. They cut me off after about 12K.

That was my first thought as well, since it looks like they'd be essentially refunding money to your debit card. But then I saw this:

"Receive a Square Cash Payment
To collect your money, all you need to do is link a debit card or bank account after you receive a payment. We'll deposit the full amount to your debit card or your checking account. There’s no fee to accept Square Cash."

So, it looks like Mrs. Andyandy will be linking her checking account and getting some payments from Suntrust. She doesn't have a miles earning debit, so I'm planning on one way only.

Good advice. I predict that it won't be followed, though.

By running it as credit, same as when you use your debit card online?

But that should cost Square 1-1.5%.
It is surprising that they'd be doing that.
