Vanilla Reload Change of Loading Rules

I just tried to load $500 from Vanilla Reload to Bluebird. Error 90 came up. I called Vanilla Reload and was told that due to fraud they will no longer allow reloads via their computer website. Instead, all reloads must be called in and they will allow only $500 per day unless a person has direct deposit and in that case they will allow more, I think she said $2500. This is a huge change in policy and time if it is true. What are others finding?

So what would be the point of their website then? Something sounds fishy here...

Anyone not maxed-out for the month who can test this?

Just loaded 2 VRs to my MVD this morning no problem. Double check everything (monthly limit)? Try loading onto a different BB card?

I loaded 2 this morning and will do 2 tonight.

Maybe its account specific...

I loaded a couple today as well without any problems. I think I have gotten that error code when I have reached the daily loading limit for my bluebird card.

Loaded 2 an hour and a half ago to BB with no problems.

Maybe now we will be able to load an additional 500/day (on top of the 1k) by calling in!

Lets hope it's not true, but I have to believe FT would be blowing up right now if it were.

Are you guys doing manufacturing spending or meeting minimum spending for sign up bonuses? if you do manufacturing spending, what cards do you use?

How would InComm know if you have direct deposit on your Bluebird?

cuebert Jun 27, 2013 5:42 pm

Just did one today. The only time I see errors is when I hit the max (!k/day and 5k/month).

I think you got an agent that confused their Vanilla Prepaid Card with their Vanilla Reload Cards. As to why you couldn't load $1,000, could be any number of issues. Maybe just wait a day and try again?
