I checked - don't see a separate spot for 'fraud alerts' - I would just set upi few alerts for the cc and accounts going to your cell. That should direct fraud alerts there too.

I loaded $1K yesterday, no problem. However, I`ve noticed some strange thing-I cannot withdraw all the money at once now, the system says I don`t have enough money, but the money are there.

I just got into the game and I luckily found a CVS with a stash of VR's.. and it seems I am the only one who purchases from this store too.. it just happened to be the first week of the month.. it wasn't intentional..

I am glad I didn't check this thread in late June when I already bought some VRs for July loading.

At least once a month, and usually on the 25th or later, VR system goes down. Clueless CSR gives misinformation, and before you know it, FTers show up at CVS en masse with torches and pitchforks.

I finally found a merchant that was willing to let me buy a vanilla reload with a credit card. They thought nothing of it. I tried with my Club Carlson and the transaction came back declined. Does anyone else have experience trying to reload using a CCarlson (US Bank)?

It isn't about what you are buying or what credit card you are using.

If you try for a big charge at a store you've never made a big charge at, you are likely to get a decline on a whole host of credit cards.

Call the issuer, let them know you want to make a 503.95 charge, and it should go through.

Right, it's all about spending patterns and the credit limits attached to your card. I can easily spend 5,000 on the AMEX Plat because they assume everyone who has that card has money.

If I tried maxing out my Discover card I'd surely get some kind of a call.

Interestingly, I've only had one instance where a card didn't work - wasn't declined - just needed verification from Chase

I did recently, cvs just had to call to authorize it and then shortly after I received an authorization call from CC. Maybe us bank is funny about it, Idk, hopefully 2nd time will go smoother.
