Big article today on AOL about Brad Wilson of BradsDeals blog how he made 4 million points. He explains the old mint deal. How he uses amazon payments. And how to use prepaid cards to generate spending and points.

Wow .... I don't typically care what bloggers do but this spillage is sorta messed up! :td:
Wilson then switched to a new method of buying money: Amazon Payments. The No. 1 e-commerce retailer is now trying to challenge PayPal in the online payments world, and to gain traction, it's offering person-to-person payments without the fees charged by similar services. So, you can load money into your Amazon Payments account using your credit card, allowing you to rack up rewards for free. And while Amazon says it will shut you down if it finds that you're sending the money back to your own accounts, you can always "pay" a spouse, family member or trusted friend who has agreed to give you back your cash. |

That guy should be banned !!! It seems he does not care whether or not he can be banned from credit card companies for fully revealing everything he does. I am not sure whether or not some of those points are legally earned. From reading that, I guess that CVS will be killing all VRs very soon. It is sad to see that it is a new trend for bloggers, they come here learn all tricks, and post on their sites to draw in more readers, they r pretending like they discover those tricks, then next step trying to get fame for talks, shows on TV, or write books for those tricks, or to publish/talk on different kinds of media.

I think AOL probably got this wrong, but it stated in the article the "new" T&C states "The Amazon method has its drawbacks. The terms of service now list the monthly sending and receiving limit at $500, ". I hadn't seen this posted in the Amazon thread, and I can say I received 1k about 2 days ago. I think the AOL writer was looking at the wrong T&C. Can someone confirm this? i.e. it's still send 1k and receive 1k per month right?

Ugh. If you're going to talk about deals like this, at least keep it in the family. Whether it's causation or correlation, deals seem to die when they hit the media*. Some kettle will start sending AP back and forth to Mrs. Kettle, get shut down, raise holy hell, and AP will go away. I don't have any problem with publicizing limited time deals, but bragging about how you're getting free money from Amazon just isn't smart.
