What to do at KUL? Lounge access as a Oneworld Emerald?
I'll be flying JL7090/MH88 as an OWE. I've never really explored KUL before so I am not that familiar with the airport. Are there any lounges worth visiting? Looking to eat something before the late evening departure. If the KUL lounges suck, maybe I'll grab a bite somewhere around Bukit Bintang. What else is there to do at KUL?

Shopping at the airport is dismal. You're likely to spend some restful time in the Golden Lounge (Platinum) - the a la carte dining there isn't bad. And when you're bored enough, then head to the busier Golden Lounge (Business) next door and explore its buffet.

So basically just go to KUL for the food? Just to be clear, does Platinum have much better food and drinks than Business? Only go there if bored? I rather just stay in Platinum if it has superior food and drinks.

There are some guides on what to do in KLIA, e.g.: https://www.sleepinginairports.net/l...ur-airport.htm
The ‘Jungle Boardwalk’ in the centre of the Satellite terminal is nice for a short walkthrough, think it’s open again (until 7pm).
No special OWE privileges other than the lounge, of course.
I’d eat in town if it were me coming in from the KLCC area… the food at the Platinum lounge is usually good enough (though see the other thread about the steak), but there is better in town if one has enough time. Of course, it is ‘free’ food…

Other than the standard lounge, priority checkin, baggage, maybe FastTrack, etc, are there other perks OWE should expect? If so, I’m definitely missing out!

There's an F check-in area and an F ("Platinum") lounge for OWEs. Apart from maybe priority security (which is done at the gate anyway), what else is missing from the OWE experience?

There is a fairly nice check in area for OWEs and you will be able to use the Platinum Lounge instead of the Golden Lounge.
The Platinum Lounge is pretty quiet but the food can be quite limited. The last time I was there, there were only 2 main courses to choose from. The J lounge has more hot food choices including a laksa bar. They'd be able to plate food from the J Lounge and bring it to you to the dining room at the Plat Lounge if you would want that. Service is well intentioned but very not polished haha. There are shower rooms but I don't recall them having lotion.
