MH confirms retirement of all A380s

No surprise, just the sounding of another inevitable death-knell for the superjumbo, as Malaysia Airlines confirms it will retire all Airbus A380s saying they “don’t fit" the carrier’s "future plan.”

Won’t be surprised if they reactivate them at some point in the future either, if no one takes them first

I'd thought they'd fit the future plan quite nicely in that much like the rest of the airline they won't be flying anywhere soon.

Sounds like Thai's fleet plan. Put up all the old and unwanted aircraft for sale, but at unrealistically high prices and wonder why nobody buys them.

Very much so - it is all good and well to put things up for sale, but if there is zero demand then what good does it do
