The 138-room Mandarin Oriental, slated to open in 2010, will be located on Saint Honoré in a 1930s Art Deco building with an expansive inner courtyard and signature Mandarin Oriental Spa. Le Royal Monceau, a Raffles Hotel, is also planning to open in spring 2010 with Laurent Andre acting as executive chef. The 150 rooms and suites, designed by Philippe Starck, will celebrate the French tradition of “art de vivre.” Shangri-La will open a hotel here in 2010 also, with 101 guest rooms, including 35 suites designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon. Its Shangri-La Suite will measure 2,153 square feet and will have the closest hotel terrace to the Eiffel Tower.

The Siam Hotel is to open in 2011 and looks very interesting. A 39 room hotel on the river in Bangkok including Private pool villas!
