The Savoy (London UK) looks very interesting indeed- and it appears they have set a firm opening date now of October this year.

Still waiting to hear EXACTLY when Raffles Royal Monceau will open, but then everything is delayed in Paris, like elsewhere right now.

I saw the original architectural plans for this resort several years ago and they were stunningly original. Sadly, the whole project has been dumbed down, so the look is very ordinary now. However, it is a great site. I just hope they built the hidden access road.

3+ years before capella, and only 39 rooms kind of confused whether top accommodation has pool.

although i wonder about min leases on sukhothai and st regis residences.. (some with pools)

Designed by Bill Bensley and with Jason Friedman (ex Qualia & FS Tented Camp) as new GM. I will definitely stay there next time I am in BK.
