For me, it's now a toss-up between the SkyLofts and the FS for my favourite in Vegas.
Until the new Mandarin Oriental opens (also casino-free), you cannot do better than stay at the Four Seasons. It is nicer than ever, especially since they remodelled the rooms and suites, which are now very contemporary and comfortable. The Verandah restaurant is also 100% better and the service around the pool immaculate.

The Tower Suites at the Wynn is better than the FS IMO. The rooms are larger and have better tech features and the location is better. I also like the service in the TS, the front desk agents are very helpful and polite and the non-smoking lobby and private pool are great as well.

With complete respect, TS @ Wynn cannot hold a candle to Four Seasons. While I actually do prefer the rooms/suites at Wynn, the hotel is simply not service oriented. It claims to be a "hotel within a hotel" but the staff take ZERO interest in personal service unless you are in one of the invitation-only apartments. The concierge is unimaginative and useless and the front desk staff are airheaded pretty eastern Europeans. I have no idea how it received both Mobil and AAA 5 star ratings.

Having stayed and visited at both hotels (and other top Vegas properties) countless times over the last several years, FS is without a doubt the finest hotel experience in Vegas from a service perspective. My biggest gripes about FS are that the public areas are too quiet and lacking in personality, and the hotel lacks a truly excellent "vegas style" restaurant. Charlie Palmer is a bit too mundane.

I have stayed at the Tower Suites at Wynn but found the finish of the decor very cheap - nowhere near the quality of FS. Agree, too, that service at Wynn is not great. I didn't think the food was good, either!!

I think the Wynn TS Parlor and Salon Suites are lovely. The nice lounge off the lobby is also great, but I'm basically a sucker for any lounge with free flowing Champagne.

My previous visit to a friends cabana @ the TS pool was great, and the service was top notch, some of the best pool service I've had in a long time. And, the ability to order from Tableau @ the pool was great.

I think the "key" to issues with casino properties is that they often don't cater particularly well to non-[big] player customers. While, this is a horrible excuse, a non-casino property such as the FS will often be more service oriented to ALL it's customers, since it is basically focused on revenue (non-comp) guests.

Getting the top casino in Vegas to provide top service to non-player customers is often a challenge. Understandable or not, Wynn has many players with daily theoreticals that greatly exceed $10,000 USD. Since individual hosts will often be handling player arrangements (on a personal level), the concierges are often left with the leftover non-[big] player client base. Though, I've had good success with concierge team at Palazzo; which is a pretty well run organization --- unfortunately, Palazzo tends to fall down with regard to a number of service snafus due to it's overall size.

I guess, for those who are paying $$$, choosing a top rate non-casino property is probably a better way to ensure excellent service. Exception "might" be the Skylofts, though, I've also heard enough conflicting service reviews to make me wonder.

We stayed for four nights at FS at the end of September in a 750sq ft room and were disappointed. Whilst the room was very comfortable and we had a great view, we too had service issues, from not having the roll away bed as requested for my daughter (more than once, including at booking, when confirming, arrival, etc, she ended up on the sofa bed for two nights which we wanted to avoid; missing bathrobe, room service problems, and the list goes on. All little problems by themself, but when put together it felt like one thing after another.

My daughter loved LV and can't wait to go back. Overall though, when we went to Disneyland for the next part of our trip, we had far better service, and without any issues, from a large business chain, which I felt then even more disappointed.

From what I've read the FS is the best for children, and advertise that they cater to them, it will probably have to be our choice again.

My last visit to the TS all of the Front Desk employees were American and all were helpful and willing to serve. I do agree that Casino hotels are generally not service orinted to people who spend money in the hotel rather than the casino. The TS decor is by far the best in Las Vegas and is def not cheap. Everyone from the private entrance staff to the concierge staff to housekeeping was always pleasant and helpful and VERY professional.

The last time I stayed at the FS the service was great but the rooms very very dated and not as modern and tasteful as the TS. The location of the Wynn is also far better than the FS.

They completely re-modelled the rooms and suites at FS Vegas - now very smart and contemporary.

They had finished most of the suites last Summer and were embarking on the rooms. The look is very contemporary and stylish now. Since they opened, they have done a lot of work - enlarging the pool terrace, re-designing the restaurant etc etc. For me, it was a much more comfortable option that Wynn, and with considerably better service. Great concierge desk, too.
