The beds on the Seabourn Pride. Plus I love the 'rocking'.

First Hotel, Copenhagen. It's not just the bed but also the sheets, down pillows and down comforter. It feels great to sink your body on that bed especially after a long transoceanic flight.

Haha, yes, I always enjoy sleeping on ships, gentle rocking is very nice indeed. So my vote goes to the beds on RCCL in the Owner's Suites where they have the fixed king bed, not the moveable stuff.

Or any Four Seasons' hotel bed.

Though now, thinking about it more carefully, I must say the bed (room 5420) in the Mandarin Oriental New York was probably the best I ever slept in.

For me, the most comfortable hotel bed has been Sofitel Montreal. The pillowtop beds and down comforters are amazing. When you lay down on them it feels like getting a massage... all of the energy is just sucked right out of you. That makes Sofitel the hotel of choice for me when I stay in Montreal.
Don't know if this is coincidence, but my vote would have to go to another Canadian property - the Fort Garry hotel in Winnipeg. Again, you just sank into the top part of the bed, but the mattress also offered a lot of support.

Better still, after a great night's sleep they had the most amazing buffet breakfast - and sooooo reasonable too!

Sofitel St James

Have you ever slept in a cloud? After a PDX>LHR flight - a quick morning check-in and shower - that bed was heavenly. I slept for - 17 hours.
Another great choice, the beds at the W's. I recently stayed at the W Seattle - and it was so comfortable. I slept past checkout.

The Westin Kierland Resort, Spa, & Villas In Scottsdale, Arizona. Those Heavenly Beds are truly amazing... Then again, I haven't had the pleasure of staying at a Sofitel or FS hotel... soon I hope...
