It is hard to separate location from hotel. Some hotels have a great location because they are central and close to amazing sights, but if I were to talk about amazing locations because of view or nature etc. my favourites would be:
Amangiri (everything!!)
FS Seychelles (that view!!!)
Aman Sveti Stefan (unique location)
FS Hong Kong (view)
FS Istanbul at the Bosphorus (by the river)
Amanpulo (beach)
Rayavadee (beach - before and after hordes of tourists have left)

I'd put the Oberoi Amarvillas in Agra in this category. Too bad it's never going to be more than a one or two night stopover for almost everyone.

In 1995 we sailed from Bali to the Barrier Reef on a small luxury Cruise ship. On of our most memorable stops on this journey was at the Northern tip of Australia where we stopped to explore and dine at Seven Spirit Bay. https://sevenspiritbay.com.au
Surely, not an easy place to get to but so glad we had the opportunity to see and experience the beauty of Seven Spirit Bay .

I love cities so my most stunning stay was the RC Hong Kong and the 360 view from the Club Lounge.

Amanjiwo & Amanpulo would be it for me.

But as chinmoylad pointed out before, if just looking at location I would add Six Senses Zighy Bay. Not at the level of the other properties people prefer on this forum, but the location is stunning and quite unique...
