Ritz Paris (reopened June, 2016)

So I noticed L'Espadon at the Ritz has 2 Michelin stars for its dinner menu and 1 star for its lunch menu. Isn't it unusual for Michelin to award different ratings to a restaurant depending on lunch or dinner service? I had always believed the rating was given to a restaurant as a whole. For example, Le Cinq was given 3 stars recently and Michelin did not distinguish between breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Looks like Michelin counts the restaurant as two distinctive spaces:
One for lunch:

"armed" not with guns but to break glass in gallery/retail to steal jewelry displayed behind glass ($ millions)
seems police were basically nearby already, so very quick 'smash and grab' ; 'grabs' seem common in paris
edit - hurting people is not goal of 'massive' numbers of scooter bandits and pickpockets in paris

Spent three nights here earlier this month with my wife and daughter. I booked via the Chase UR sight and booked into an Exec Suite. We got upgraded to the Hemingway Suite; um, wow. Amazing. This was a once in a lifetime splurge for us in all respects and the hotel and staff did not disappoint.
I had drinks at the Hemingway Bar. I've been here on all prior visits to Paris since 2004. I have to say, it isn't the same for some reason. I mean, it was exactly the same as it was 15 years ago in decor and layout, but the clientele was just different. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I'm too old now for it?!
We had a couple of meals and more drinks in the Bar Vendome. The food and service were over the top amazing.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel; we found places close by for pastries, quiche and coffee.
One day, my daughter left her cheap watch on the bed (we think). We headed back to get it, but the room was already being serviced. The two housekeepers looked all over the room and called down to have the sheets and laundry searched. Ultimately, it wasn't found. No big deal and the effort exceeded the value of the watch. The next day I walked out without my room key so I went the front desk. I had no wallet, no nothing. I approached a man I'd never seen before to tell him what I'd done. He asked for my room number, I gave it to him. He said: Ah, Mr. YourNameIsHardToPronounceButISaidItPerectly, did someone follow up with you about your daughter's watch? She was with me, he said to her "I know how much it must have meant to you but I'm sorry we could not locate it." Wow on a lot of fronts. Flash forward to our last day (the next after this exchange). I went to check out, back to the room, called down for help with the luggage and we're waiting for the uber to pick us up. Someone comes out with a fancy Ritz bag and tells my daughter that they know her watch was special and they're sorry they couldn't find it, so they wanted her to have this (the bag) to make her feel better. Who cares what the hell was in it?! But it was a Ritz bear (the male version; she'd received the female version on our first night with the champagne for my wife and I).
I have never had, nor will I likely have again, an experience with attention to detail like this. The attention paid to us in the bar, at the restaurant, at the front desk, from housekeeping, by the bellman...over the freaking top. I'm amazed at this hotel and the people there. We're pretty plain people compared to the other clientele we saw there but we were not made to feel so. I wish I could go back again some day, but I don't see that being possible.
I'm so glad we had the opportunity to experience this absolutely amazing hotel.
Happy to answer questions.

Ritz Selling/Upgrading Guests to Bedrooms belonging to Suite?
Seems like the Ritz Paris has been selling/upgrading guests (at least social media influencers) to the bedroom portion of their Prestige Suites while not giving them the full suite.
In the following youtube video, it appears that Room 134 was sold as a "Prestige Apartment" (category cannot be found and booked on the website). This "bedroom" is actually the 2nd bedroom for the Windsor Suite.
While in this other video, this youtube fashion vlogger appears to be given the main bedroom for the Imperial Suite (it is a 2 bedroom suite). Nowhere in the video does she go out into the main living room and both doors appear to be closed and locked. When arriving at the room, they entered through the back entrance and not through the main foyer leading to the living room.
Anyone here have an idea as to how to get one of these "bedrooms" on the 1st floor facing Place Vendome without actually having to get the full suite?

Thatīs often the case with such Videos, they only visit for filming. Sometimes they also seem to stay (in rooms or smaller suites) and get tours of the suites they film. In the second video she is lying in bed, but it could be more or less every bed..... Same with planes, for excample there is a Video from the Etihad Residence online but the showering-video (wired, I know) was definitively filmed in the apartments bathroom.

Very sorry to hear he has left the Crillon. Had a lovely drinks nd visit with him at Crillon while I was there in April. But much as I like him it's not enough to make me switch to the Ritz.
