help with room in NYC

hi, next october my family (wife and a 19 yrs old girl) and i are going to nyc.
i'm trying to find a luxury hotel that has rooms with two queen ( or better king) beds. until now i 've only found MO (single room but with two twin beds) and FS ( king with an extra bed on request). Obviously suites are equipped with two large beds but my hope is to spend a little less....

can you give me some suggestions?

thanks in advance

I believe The Surrey and the Langham Place have accommodations with 2 queens. Both are Virtuoso which will provide additional value.

The Plaza also have rooms with 2 queens and is also Virtuoso

talk to sales dept at hotel

no easy way to search for this kind of thing is there?

re price, if you were open to renting from owner and possibly without (hotel) housekeeping, might be able to find or negotiate a great/low price on a 2BR at trump international. and there are other luxury condohotels in NYC as well.

The Ritz Carlton CP has rooms with 2 beds in the entry level rooms. Not sure if they are queen.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Surrey - great location upper east side near Central Park. It's the only Relais & Chateaux property in NYC and Café Boulud is a great "hotel" restaurant

Both the Four Seasons and St Regis have rooms with two beds but I think they are doubles....you should call or email and check.

Yes, they are doubles - those rooms are called 'Double Doubles'.

A couple of options (one Luxury- one not Luxury but good value for the money IMHO):

1) Trump Central Park should have what you are looking for

2) The London NYC Hotel while not luxury has some very spacious two bedroom suites priced around what you will spend for a deluxe room with extra bed at the MO or the FS

At 19 wouldnt she want her own room? And wouldn't you prefer the privacy as well. Mine are 18 and 15 and sharing a room with them would not be my idea of a holiday!

We are in NYC next month and have booked 2 rooms at the London- as stated not the height of luxury but large decent rooms, good location and a reasonable price. 2 rooms are slightly more than a 2 bed suite but worth it for privacy (I love them really but we all need our own time )

AFAIK at the London the 2 bedroom suites are a one bedroom suite with the second bedroom adjoining or "locked off" meaning I think you will get the same privacy this way- you may want to check?

Hi. They may even be on a different floor! We have booked 2 different room types with a request saying no need to be near each other ! Same floor is ok but because they need a twin that can be hard so I don't expect to be near them. We have had a 2 bed when they were younger. Saying you want to be adjacent usually limits the rooms available in most hotels.

It's so annoying when someone starts a new thread with such a vague title...

The Peninsula has Grand Luxe rooms with 2 queen beds. However, they are strictly by request and must be confirmed before arrival.
