Hello!
I'd like to ask for help about my flight.
Im traveling from Slovenia (LJU) to New York (EWR) with my connection flight in FRANKFURT.
Both or my flight are with Lufthansa - so my arrival and departure is from the Terminal 1.
My flights numbers are:
LH 1461 - from LJU to FRK at 12:15
LH 402 - from FRK to EWR at 13:35
I checked previous flights and it seems that my arrival is gonna be somewhere from the gates A (most likely A1 i believe) and my departure at the gates Z.
i know it's the same terminal but i'm really worried 1h and 20min won't be enough time to catch my next flight. Does anyone know if 1h 20min is enough?
And im guessing i wont need to recheck my luggage? Do i need to go though security, if yes how long does that take?

For the last couple of days LH1461 arrived at ASW which is a bus arrival gate under A/Z concourse. You will have to go through document check and passport control but there is no need to clear security unless you are picked for a random check. Your luggage can be checked through to EWR so there is no need to recheck it in FRA.
1 hr 20 mins should be enough as long as your flight from LJU is on time or only slightly late.

What route is this? What nationality? Any Schengen / non-Schengen will have a passport check, and you will likely have to clear security again. Are you on one ticket or two?

Since both DUB and MCT are in non-Schengen you don’t need to go through passport control in FRA. WY flights appear to depart from C gates so you will have to clear transfer security.
* People who post in this forum have not memorised all flight numbers even for LH flights.
It would be helpful if you could include routes when asking questions here.

I connect in FRA (and MUC) a lot. Since I have a UK passport I make use of the automatic Passport gates to pass from Schengen to non-Schengen and vice versa.
i haven’t been able to find information as to whether UJK passport holders will still be allowed to use these after January 31st. (Perhaps the answer is still “we don’t know”).

My wife and I have a 60 minute connection at FRA on one ticket booked with LH, the itinerary is LUX-FRA-LYS. It looks like LUX-FRA arrives on the tarmac (ASW) so we'd be bussed to the terminal. Lately FRA-LYS departing from A11.
Should we be good to go? I read the wiki, looks like the bus takes us to the A5 area and we do not need to clear transfer security or passport control. One more thing, we have economy class tickets and carry on luggage only. LUX-FRA is Lufthansa CityLine on a CRJ-900. How is luggage space and should we be concerned we might have to check our roll ons either at check in or at the gate?
