On the OS Website you can now download the great Austrian Blue Danube Waltz Video.

Enjoy it (12 MB).

Ann Arbor, MI digesting dinner.
Had to endure the Eurovision Song contest this afternoon (magic of the internet, it was streamed live on the internet and my scandinavian wife loves it). For those who missed it, some Serbian group won

One beer won't cure you of spending time in MCO. You need a bottle of vodka.

Nope, wifey 10w 6d, so no alcohol can be shared and I would have to consume a complete bottle in the near future Beer is finished and will be replenished tomorrow. Plus the Le Grand-Prix Eurovision de la Chanson Européenne took place at 3pm EST, so a tad too early to open a bottle. Managed to catch a nap during the event though. Will watch the F1 GP tomorrow morning though!

Surfing the net and FT in parallel to find a deal in Chicago June 16-18. The nicest I can find is the Hyatt RC for 199/night. All Amex Plat FHR plus a myriad of codes don't work... thinking of giving up and getting onto Priceline

One bottle of wine per person is ideal....

Hyatt RC? What's RC? $199 doesn't seem TOO expensive....

Hyatt Regency Chicago, not to be confused with the Park Hyatt, which is a altogether nicer animal, or with the McCormick Convention Center Hyatt that is waay too south for a weekend.

Reviews for the RC are not too ecstatic:

Stayed there last year the same time and got a nice upgrade into the west tower with river view. Hope to repeat that.

Sadly there are two conventions in town:
Jun 15-17
U S Volleyball Association - ASICS Junior National Volleyball Championships
McCormick Place North
Delegates: 40,000
www.straightdownvolleyball.com

Jun 18-21
NXTcomm 2007
McCormick Place
Delegates: 20,000

The priceline 4* in Chicago are way too many and have way too many bad ones:
