I guess we can count on LH to vote in favor of admitting US to *A. What are the voting rules? I seem to recall that unanimous consent of the member airlines within the region (continent?) is required. I'm sure at least a simple majority of all the members is also required. Does anyone know exactly?
I heard rumors that TG withheld consent for SQ to join *A until they were threatened by other members with explusion. I'm not sure whether this rumor is true or not.
