Just checked rates from LON-CCU and found really good rates for business class.
Z 1210
D 1705
C 4330
F 6335

all in GBP + taxes/fees. I wonder why there are no offers in A class ?
Is it because BA only offers a 2 class aircraft to CCU ?
So LH is out of competition with it´s first class ?

While Z and in particular D looks good, C (~6500€) and F (~9.500) seem to be very expensive to me. FRA-CCU is ~4400€ incl. tax in C and ~6600€ incl. tax in F.

When I was doing my research into CCU fares, ex-MIL was the lowest for Y fares, ex-ATH was 1600EUR in D.

I'm really puzzled why LH is offering F to CCU in the first place. The flights I'm on next week are completely sold out in Y, sold out in I (presume UA/LH FF from USA on holiday) and the rest of C and F wide open and empty.

This "phenomenon" is very specific to this particular "next week" that time of the year. All routes, all airlines, worldwide... By no means a generality.
