Medium-haul catering
What is the current medium haul catering in ECO for flights that are 3+hours ?
I’m curious specifically about VIE-TLV on OS and TLV-MUC on LH.
quick online search showed a warm sandwich on OS and cold sandwich on LH that used to be served in eco around 2010 ..
Would u recommend ordering special meal ? If so , kosher or vegetarian?

This summer it was a sandwich with cheese and some red-colored spread on LH MUC-TLV. Not very appetizing. I don't remember if any special meal looked any better.

Had exactly this as a second meal on longhaul to Bangkok. Returned it after one bite. Disgusting.

I haven't seen a single person on that flight buying it, I wonder how fresh it is. For some time I was wondering if LY has a better economy meal, and recently discovered that the answer for me is a "no".
Now I just bring my own food when traveling in short haul economy.

It's just miserable. Cringeworthy seeing them flog that crap. david&dean who? Reminds me of BArb shouting "M&S Buy on Board" down the cabin, waving the book.

LH are going in a totally different direction to AF-KLM.
