MIA to TLV via FRA - COVID requirements to transit?

Israel no longer requires covid tests pre flight for Israeli citizens. My parents are scheduled on flying MIA-FRA-TLV are they required to show covid tests to transit in FRA or does vaccination card sufficient? I’m having hard time finding the right answer here.

thanks in advance.

If they were vaccinated in the US, that's sufficient. If they aren't, COVID test. More info here.

their vaccine is approved by the EU, is that why you asked if they got the vaccine in the US? the website also says “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restrictions for entry into Germany from many countries apply. Persons entering must complete a digital entry registration. They also have to provide a negative test result or proof of immunity.”

I’m so confused by this.

They are transiting to a non-Schengen country so they will not be "entering Germany".

To keep it simple—no test required for this.

The US has approved vaccines so that's why I mentioned it to be clear.

They don't need a test. Bring their CDC card, that's it.
