LH Group reintroduces change fees for light fares starting August 2, 2021
All fares of Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa, SWISS, Air Dolomiti and Eurowings Discover can be rebooked as before, if necessary, so your passengers can continue to plan their travels without worry.
This applies to all tickets issued from 2nd August 2021:
• All fares (except Economy Light and Business Saver) can be rebooked free of charge. You can change both the route (including the point of departure and point of arrival *) and the date of travel.
• The attractive Economy Light fare, including hand luggage only, can be rebooked at an additional cost of EUR 35 / CHF 40 / USD 40 (flights within Europe) or EUR 75 / CHF 115 / USD 90 (intercontinental flights) **. You can change the date and route. Changing the point of departure and arrival is not allowed.
• When rebooking a Business Saver fare on flights within Europe, a rebooking fee of EUR 35 / CHF 40 / USD 40 will be charged. You can change the date and route. Changing the point of departure and arrival is not allowed. This rebooking rule also applies to the concept of economy class fares on intercontinental routes, which was introduced on 1 June 2021 on selected routes between Europe and Africa, Asia, the Middle East, North, Central and South America. From now on, the fare concept will include more flexible rebooking conditions, which also apply to First, Business and Premium Economy classes.
Starting August 2, 2021 (ticketing date), there will be four fare options (“Fare Families”) with different refund conditions in all booking classes on the affected routes. This way, you can offer your passengers maximum flexibility at an affordable price, including a money-back guarantee, even in the lowest booking classes.
Please note: All Eurowings fares can now be rebooked as often as needed without a change fee. The arrival point can also be changed to any other within Europe.
We want your passengers to plan their trips without relying on chance. No matter how often circumstances may change, our rebookable rates give travelers the flexibility to adjust their plans at any time.
* Exception: tickets for domestic flights in Germany cannot be exchanged for tickets for international flights and vice versa.
** Except for Economy Light fares originating in the USA / Canada / Central America.
