Eurowings Interline SQ (FCO)

Dear fellow FTers,
Did a few searchers but I can't seem to find any conclusive info.

I would like to fly VIE - FCO (Eurowings) and FCO - SIN on SQ (separate tickets)

Does anyone have any clue regarding interlining ?
If this was LH> SQ it would be no problem of course.

I read that Eurowings and SQ do have interline agreements for certain airports in Germany.
So I'm not sure if the counter staff in VIE will allow me to interline baggage.

Anyone knows? Thanks very much!

This is fantastically valuable information. Where did you find that?

And just to be certain: if an airline appears on this list it means that I can check in at SQ and they can check the luggage all the way through to my final destination, even if the connecting flight is on a *separate* ticket on one of these airlines?

Or does interlining merely mean that they can check through luggage when connecting to one of these airlines on the *same* ticket?

Interlining means they WILL transfer bags on one ticket and they CAN do so on multiple tickets but don’t have to. There is no way to be sure in advance.
chris63 and ajeleonard like this.

Thanks for the replies
I decided to book Brussels Air in the end as I doubt Eurowings will interline to SQ. It more than doubles the travel time but at least I won't have to recheck in all the ski gear on this trip.

Perhaps SQ would interline to Eurowings in SIN but I doubt it would work the other way round.

Would have flown Austrian directly but their flights are basically the same Eurowings operated flights.

This should be accessible from Expertflyer, but it doesn't apply to separate tickets

It is from EF. It means they 'can' ... not they 'must' or 'will'. If it is not listed, it is a no-go.

it has nothing to do with separate tickets, it means the 2 airlines have an agreement to interline bags.
