LH plan is not to make them so comfortable, they are fine if you need to get some sleep but not inviting enough for anything else.

LH could make the beds a bit more comfortable and would still not run the risk that people would want to spend to much time in the small windowless box they are
The key factor (sorry about the pun) is that you do not get a key for the LH rooms; can be locked from inside but once you are out that’s it.

Exactly, a total of 2 at ZRH is just not enough.

LX dayrooms are absolutely fabulous, all two of them
FRA & MUC dayrooms are for pax desperate for some sleep & that’s doing it’s job.
Pax check in to ZRH dayrooms , if you can get one, & don’t want to leave

Back then, it was probably the first time this happened. And there was most likely no procedure in place to help the LD argue that this is unacceptable. My hope would be that chris63 complained and lounge management have since developed instructions for LDs for such a situation.

And the rules permitted that, Father & Son on same inbound flight & same outbound....
We all know here how strict the LD’s are at ZRH & they seem to relish at times applying the rules
