It's the sort of debacle that you'd think might be thought up by someone who wears a scarf indoors .

As I said somewhere above: people with this “style” are not to be trusted.

And I find it difficult to take them seriously...

Sure, but LH Board took them seriously & now it’s going to cost a serious amount of EUR to put this debacle right

But the tail surely does look rather black than blue, especially if you compare the color to the legacy blue.

I think it actually looks rather fetching in the black but not good for LH color branding

I'd go back to a close-to-original blue and fill the crane yellow.

How about they keep the existing blue with the yellow crane and apply it in the new pattern? They keep the yellow patch by the door and leave other colours as is.

How much can I charge for the idea if they adopt it?;-)

I'm not sure, but I hope a lot, as I plan on taking the lot off of you as you clearly just copied my idea from one post up

How to ruin your reputation 1.01

"No one will say after two or three years, Oh, let’s change it again."

That's right. Two or three weeks was all it took.

Wow. Didn't imagine it looked THAT black.
But to be fair kudos to them if they recognize the fiasco, major kudos if they ditch the rebranding altogether.

Actually on an Italian aviation forum I've seen an amazing restyling idea from a member, but can't link it as registration is needed.
LH may get away with it for free.

They are just reformulating the blue that goes on the aircraft, everything else is still being rolled out.

What is the timeframe of the origin of the livery currently on D-ABYT? Would that be the 1970s? 80s?

From the photo shown, the trend does seem to be one of increasing darkness--perhaps a subliminal message?
