LH hotline systems down globally? Cyber attack?
I just got off the phone with Lufthansa customer service in the US and they told me to call back later, they can't help me because "our systems are down and it's a global issue."

I wonder if it has to do with the latest ransom ware attack? Did LH get hit?

If I were a betting person (which I am), I'd put money on it being a LH-internal issue, not caused by an external cyber attack. Time will tell.

Well, it has probably more to do with outsourcing than the IT being "ancient".

SAS is also down. Amadeus seems to be the reason.

LH.com is very buggy right now. Cannot get quotes, can't fill out the homescreen, check-in boxes as it keeps saying they are missing.

New enhancements on Lufthansa.com...

Impossible to get to the booking overview once logged in. Website returns 'Generic error'.

Any one else experiencing this error?

It's possible that it has something to do with NotPetya malware, currently raging in central and eastern Europe - many companies doing business in Ukraine got affected.

Happens from time to time, usually for short periods.

Right now, it works for me without any problems.

I can't remember the last time it worked for me.

What does work, however, is to go to the booking overview using the links at the bottom left of lufthansa.com, instead of the link in the menu on the top right.
